Kino Corporation started as a small distribution company named PT Duta Lestari Sentratama back in 1991. Nowadays PT Duta Lestari Sentratama has grown significantly with 18 distribution points to handle its operation throughout Indonesia.
Expanding into the manufacturing industry, PT Kino Sentra Industrindo was built as a confectionary manufacturing company in 1997 with its factory located in Semarang, Central Java. PT Kino Sentra Industrindo keeps on actively creating a wide range of confectionary products such as candies, snacks and chocolates.
Another big step was taken in 1999, PT Kinocare Era Kosmetindo, manufacturer of a wide range of personal care products for all genders and ages was established. In 2003 PT Kinocare Era Kosmentindo enlarged its businesses further into homecare division by providing a wide range of homecare products under the brand Sleek. Later Kino stepped further into Beverage industries by producing Panther Energy Drink.
Expanding into Asian region, in 2004 Kino opened its first branch office in Malaysia with Kinocare (M) Sdn Bhd and Philippines with Kino Consumer Philippines. Kino also established distributorships with some other big distributor companies in Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam and Myanmar, Japan, Australia, Middle East & Africa. In 2012 Kino Consumer Vietnam opened to expand its distribution network in Southeast Asia.
Kino Corporation went further to establish PT Prime Restaurant Indonesia in 2005 that runs Chicken Story, an Indonesian cuisines restaurant. It also opened bubble tea outlet in 2012 that originally from Taiwan, Share Tea.
In recent time, Kino Corporation had license from WenKen Group Singapore to legally produce, distribute, and market Three Legs Brand or Cap Kaki Tiga in Indonesia since 2011.
Kino Corporation also had another joint venture with Morinaga & Company Limited from Japan to expand our business in Indonesia. It is PT Morinaga Kino Indonesia, which officially formed in 2013.
After almost two decades, Kino Corporation Group products are now available in big distributors, hypermarkets, supermarkets, mini-markets, thousands of cosmetic stores as well as million of small traditional outlets throughout the Indonesian archipelago. Kino’s product quality has met international standard qualification, proved by the increasing demands from the markets all over the world. However, Kino fully realizes that it cannot be complacent.
